Say x=5. Replace the x with 5.
12(4*5-5)52=?
12(20-5)52=?
12(15)52=?
180*52=9360
x does not equal 5

Now lets try 12.
12(4*12-5)52=?
12(48-5)52=?
12(43)52=?
516*52=26832
x does not equal 12

Repeat this process with the other two numbers. Just replace x with one of the numbers. Make sure there is no negative signs on any of the numbers. All signs are crucial.
