If one is involved in a single car accident with injuries, then that person's insurance covers the medical expenses as Injury insurance. As well as covering for the repairs of the vehicle. Most insurance companies require a deductible which is the amount the insured would pay out of pocket before the insurer (insurance co) would pay.
