The Dutch were Calvinist at the time so they believed in Pre-destination as in God had already decided what was going to happen to you already so they way you lived didnt matter and because of this they didnt have the heavy conversationalist practices of the Catholic Spanish and French and the Protestant English. So the Chinese agreed to let them in because they didnt have to free of a divided religious community. Oh and a side note the Dutch were actually one of the most brutal and bloodiest colonizing countries.
