this is a unit rate problem.

to find the unit rate:

2 2/1 ÷ 15
if you change the mixed number to an improper fraction it will be 4/1
so its 4/1 or 4 ÷ 15 (15÷4)

it will give you $3.75
so, $3.75 per yard :)
