Why Is water important in cells

Your body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions. Because your body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, it's important to rehydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water. Hope this helps :)

Water is often called a solvent because it is key to so many processes where it acts as exactly that, a solvent. It helps to break waste and nutrients down in the cell so that they can be moved through the various membranes and natural filters in the body.
