We could solve for x, but notice that the same expression is being squared in both (x+1)

if (x+1)^2 - 3 = 22 then
(x+1)^2 = 25

that would mean that (x+1)^2 - 5 = 25 - 5 = 20

Please help if the value of (x+1)^2-3 is 22 what is the value of (x+1)^2-5
