If wolves did not live on Isle Royal, what main factor would determine the amount of moose the island could support? What other factors may influence population numbers?

the main factor would be the amount of vegetative matter the moose could consume. Other factors would be competition with other species over food source as well as genetic diversity in the case of disease, and other tertiary animals that prey on moose besides wolves.
