To calculate the angles inside a regular octagon, you have to use the formula: (number of sides -2) x 180
(n-2) x 180
(8-2) x 180
so 8-2 is 6 and 6 x 180 = 1080
Because all of the angles in a regular octagon are congruent (the same), if you divide 1080 by 8, you will get each angle
= 135
