How do I solve this equation? Please, if you will, explain.

3x − 3 − 12x − 10 = 41

I know about combining like terms, and this is one of those equations, but since it is subtraction, would something be different? Would I still subtract in the same order such as 3-10?

yes u just need to combine the terms like this: 3x - 12x = 41 + 10 + 3 next line will be -9x = 54 then x = -54/9 which will be = -6

Yes, but your answer will be a decimal, but make sure you check your work and one way you can check your work is by first combing like terms, and then solve it as it is an equation.
