so 35 times 288
what you do is to regroup 288 into 200+80+8
remember the distributive property?
a(b+c)=ab+ac
so
a(b+c+d)=ab+ac+ad
therefor
35(200+80+8)=
(35)(200)+(35)(80)+(35)(8)=
7000+2800+280=
10080

so I will use the example of
200
×
20
-------
so what you would do would be so an easier way and fastest way is just put all zeros aside and and when you do you have 2 twos so 2×2=4 so then you get 4 and add all zero u took away which you took 3 zeros so 200×20=4,000
