Since 5p5⁢p does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right side of the equation by subtracting 5p5⁢p from both sides.9c=−5p+p9⁢c=-5⁢p+pAdd −5p-5⁢p and pp to get −4p-4⁢p.9c=−4p9⁢c=-4⁢pDivide each term by 99 and simplify.
