The volume of a pentagonal pyramid is 28 in3. What is the volume if the measures of the pyramid are multiplied by 4?

Volume of a pentagonal pyramid = Area of base x height

Since every dimension is multiplied by 5,
Area is multiplied by 5² and height by 5

So volume is multiplied by 5^3 = 125

The volume = 125 x 32 = 4000 in^3
