How to graph inequalities

pretend that it is just a regular equality. then choose a point on either side of the line and plug the x and y values into the equation. If the equation is still 'true', shade the side of the line that the point was on.  If the equation is 'false', shade the other side. If there is a ≥ or ≤ sign in the original inequality, keep the line solid. If there is a > or < sign, make the line dotted/dashed. Hopefully this helped.
