2 1/6 - 1/8. 2 1/6 becomes 13/6. 6 and 8 both go into 24. 13/6 becomes 52/24, and 1/8 becomes 3/24. 52-3 is 49/24. that cannot be simplified, so that is your answer.

initial volume = 2 1/6
1/8 of that volume
1/8 of 2 1/6
1/8 * 13/6
13 / 48
