Cytokinesis is important for cell growth while mitosis is the division of the nucleus of a cell. Both of them are needed in order to form offspring or daughter cells. Mitosis creates two identical nuclei and cytokinesis completes cell division.

Discuss the relationship between mitosis and cytokinesis. What would be the result if one happened without the other?
