What is the lcm of two numbers if one is a multiple of the other?

To find the LCM of two numbers which is the multiple of the other, then you must take the smaller number of those two, and multiply it with a number which results as the multiple of the first number.

For example,
LCM of 2,6.
Multiply 2 with 3 with results as the number 6.
