A "set" is a group of reps. A rep is the shorter term for "repetition", which is how many of what exercise you will do.

In weight training, a 'set' is a group of reps. Reps stands for repetitions, and therefore it's fairly straightforward to understand that reps simply mean how many of whichever exercise you are doing. Depending on what kind of weight training is being done, there will be more or less sets being done on different pieces of equipment.
