-5.5x + 0.56= -1.64

-5.5x=-1.64-0.56
Subtract \ 0.56 \ from \ both \ sides

-5.5x=-2.2

(-5.5x)/(-5.5) = (-2.2)/(-5.5)
Divide \ both \ sides \ by \ -5.5

x=0.4
