During the French and Indian War, France and Great Britain fought for control of North American territory. What impact did the end of the war have on the American colonies?

The important thing about it was that it paved the way for the Liberation War because the war left Britain much poorer which it tried to compensate for by taxing colonies more which didn't go well. Also, it showed that it was possible to stand up to britain and France showed the colonists how to fight together against Britain.
