Formula to find the price per gram for each brand is:

z=x/y

We have to write a formula to find the price per gram(z) for each brand in terms of x and y

where x=price of carton

y=number of grams

The total price divided by number of the items gives price per item

So, Total price of carton(x) divided by number of grams(y) will give price per gram(z)

i.e. z=x/y

Hence, formula to find the price per gram for each brand is:

z=x/y
