I asked for help on Answers, no one came
My homework still lay quiet on my desk
I looked at it and thought "Please go away"
Could someone come and do this please for me?
I checked my question many times a day
But no one seemed to hear my anguished cry
I know it's wrong to cheat my way through school
My homework's there to help me learn and grow
No learning happens when I skip the work
Or when I copy someone Else's lines
Someday I'll know that my own work is best
I'll proudly walk across the stage of life
And take my place with those who made the grade
That paper in my hand that shows I could.
