Slope intercept form is y=mx+b
First, +3x on both sides of the equation.
That leaves 2y=8-3x
Then divide by 2 on both sides to isolate y.
y=4-(3/2)x
That gives y=(-3/2)x+4

The slope intercept form of the equation is base or calculated by the formula of y =mx+b. So base on the equation, and following some rules of solving equation, the answer would be y = 3/2x + 4. I hope you are satisfied with my answer and feel free to ask for more
