60 mph ------------- 8 h
48 mph --------------- x h
_________________
The inverse variation:
60 : 48 = x : 8
60 · 8 = 48 x
480 = 48 x
x = 480 : 48 = 10 h
Answer: the car would arrive to Austin after 10 hours of travel.
