Determine the effect that hydrogen bonding has on the physical properties of water.

Water can absorb high amounts of heat before there is an observed rise in temperature. It has the highest heat capacity among all liquids. This is caused by the presence of hydrogen bonding in water molecules which gives it stronger attraction between the molecules.
