The three stages of cyclone formation are the formative stage, mture stage and the dissipation stage. The formative stage involves the rising of the air creating an area of low pressure. The mature stage includes the increasing of the speed of the wind until such time that the cyclone starts to decrease in energy during the dissipation stage
