Not all sugar is bad for you. Explain why this is a true statement and give examples of those good sugars.

sugar is a carbohydrate and we need the carbohydrates in our daily life foe energy. Some odd the good carbohydrates are fruits/vegetables and whole grains.

It is suggested that one should not consume a lot of simple sugars such as glucose, galactose, fructose et cetera.

Complex sugars or polysaccharides such as starch, glycogen et cetera are considered as good for health.

Brown rice, barley, quinoa, bulgur, other whole grains, potatoes, sweet potatoes, legumes, corn et cetera are good sources of complex carbohydrates.
