Explain how Western Europe's physical geography affects its climate, settlement patterns, culture, and economy.

The climate in Europe is mild and conducive for agriculture. Since Europe is a peninsula, it is also near to the main bodies of water making transportation easier. Transfer of culture is faster since most European countries are near to each other. Trading also is not difficult since major shipping vessels can go to great rivers.
