How do you solve for sin (5pi/3) without a calculator? Show your solution.

Convert the radian value of 5pi/3 into degrees using the equation
rad * 180/pi
this will give you a value of 300 degrees
therefore sin (5pi/3) = sin(300) = -sin(60) = sqrt 3/2
