PROCEDURE:
it will be solved with the help of trigonometric ratios
sin
θ = perp/hyp
hyp= perp/sin
θ
hyp= 4/sin45
hyp=4/(
√2/2)
hyp=(4*2)/
√2
hyp=8/
√2
hyp=(8/√2)*(√2/
√2)
hyp=(8√2)/(√2*
√2)
hyp=(8√2)/2
hyp=4
√2 answer

This triangle is a special triangle: 45 - 45 - 90
Both of the legs (L) have the same value. The hypotenuse is H = L√2
So instead of L, you would put the value of the leg, which you have is 4
The hypotenuse, or x, is equal to
4√2
