Does Minnie Hardin believe that there is a need for New Deal programs to help the people living in her community? Why or why not?

As far as I know, Minnie Hardin was against all the ideas of New Deal programs implemented by the Roosevelt administration. People from her community are already accustomed to live without work and she is assured that if the government programs will support citizens whith such a lifestyle Indianapolis become lazy and not productive.
