Juanita is making necklaces to give as presents. She plans to put 15 beads on each necklace. Beadsare sold in packages of 20. What is the least number of packages she can tp make necklaces and have no beads left over?

Juanita puts 15 beads in a necklace.

Let Juanita purchases number of packages = 1

Then number of necklaces prepared =
\frac{\text{Total number of beads}}{\text{Number of beads in one necklace}}

=
(20)/(15)

From 1 package number of necklaces prepared will be 1 and number of beads left = 5

If she purchased 2 package then number of necklaces prepared =
(20* 2)/(15)=(40)/(15)

From 2 packages 2 necklaces will be prepared and 10 beads will be left.

Now, if she purchases 3 packages of beads then number of necklaces prepared =
(20* 3)/(15)=4

Therefore, 3 packages of beads will be required with no beads as left over.
