Twenty times the square of a non-zero number is equal to 20 times the number ! What is the number ?

20 · x² = 20 · x |divide both sides by 20

x² = x |subtract x from both sides

x² - x = 0

x(x - 1) = 0 ⇔ x =0 or x - 1 = 0

Answer: x = 0 or x = 1
