A box contains red and blue chips. There are 2 more blue chips than red chips. If the number of red chips is tripled and the number of blue chips is double, there will be an equal number of red and blue chips. How many blue chips does the original box contain?

B = (R+2)
3R = 2B
3R = 2(R+2)
3R = 2R + 4
3R-2R = 4
R= 4
B = R + 2, so B = 6
