Gender based discrimination is a common civil rights violation that takes many forms, such as sexual harassment and (or) pregnancy discrimination, and an unequal pay for women who do the same job as men.. For example many people may discriminate women because they want to do or accomplish something only a man could do.

Gender based discrimination is when someone is treated poorly because of their gender.
