The correct answer is the qualifications of the author.

It doesn't matter if the medium is online or in hardcopy you should always check the qualifications of the author for non fiction information so for example health and fitness. You need to make sure that the information that you are reading is legitimate, reliable, has a basis in scientific fact and is trustworthy, the way to do this is to check the background of the author and their credentials.
