The cellular components of blood include red corpuscles (erythrocytes), platelets (thrombocytes), and five types of white corpuscles (leukocytes). Erythrocytes and thrombocytes are anucleated cells which perform most of their functions within theblood.

RBC/ Red blood cells : Responsible in delivering oxygen

WBC / white blood cells : Responsible in maintaining immune system

Platelets : Prevent Bleeding
