we only know the value of
f(5) therefore we need to figure out what we would put in for x in
f(
1/3
x)
to get 5 set
1/3
x=5
x=15
now if
x= 15
then
f(
1/3
x)
= f(
1/3
×15)
= f(5)=8
and so
1/4
×8−2=2−1=1
therefore the "corresponding point" is
(15,1)
