Find the slope of a line that has an x-intercept of -2 and a y-intercept of 6.

y int of 6.......(0,6)

slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (6 - 0) / (0 - (-2)
slope = 6/2
slope = 3
