A. mutation accumulation's a disadvantage of asexual reproduction In asexual reproduction, the offspring will receive all of its genetic materials through a single parent. Which means that the offspring will obtain an EXACT SAME genetic template from its parents. If mutation happened, to the patent (which could make it weaker), the offspring will definitely obtain those mutation since there is no other genetic factors that could influence it.
