altitute is 6
draw altitude
makes a right triangle
hyptonuse=side of triangle
3 and 6 are legs
a^2+b^2=c^2
3^2+6^2=c^2
9+36=c^2
45=c^2
sqrt both sides
3√5=c
the legnth of 1 side is 3√5 units (or aprox 6.708 units)
