What is a Biblical perspective of safety?

Biblical safety mentally is saying to guard your mind and be careful around temptations and the things that are ungodly, because that would be sinning if you fall into those things. Physical safety isn't really dealt with to much, but I think it's obviously implying that being safe is good.

Those who love their lives may lose if and those who hate their lives will find it.

So do not worry about saving your life, in material and physical well being--since God got your back.

Jesus said "Greater love hath no man than this, than man lay down his life for his friend."

Jesus was referring to his death and that of the martyrs of Peter etc.
