The part of the cell which performs the central functions like cell growth and reproduction is called the nucleus. The nucleus is the center of the cell or the heart and brain of it. This is where the genetic material inherent to the cell which is the DNA is also found. This is where RNA is also transcribed. Nucleus are present only in eukaryotic cells
