(What does this mean?) \"Use a graphing utility\" to graph the equation and find the x- and y-intercepts?

Base on your question the meaning of that statement that "Use a graphing utility", I think the meaning of the statement is that in getting the graph you must first consider the X and Y coordinates to get the slope of the line and then graph it to the plane and if that happens, you can formulate the equation.
