the way that the signing of the magna carta affect the lives of ordinarytownspeople of the 13th century is : it gave them fundamental guarantees of rights and priviliges The magna charta guaranteed that NOBODY will be immune to the law. Before the signing of magna Charta , England was ruled by the Kings who couldn't be touched by the law, which made them capable to do a lot of cruel things to their people
