slope of a line passing through a point is given by: y - y1 = m(x - x1); where (x1, y1) = (2, -3) and m = 5/8.
Therefore equation of the line is y - (-3) = 5/8(x - 2)
8(y + 3) = 5x - 10
8y + 24 = 5x - 10
8y - 5x = -10 - 24 = -34
5x - 8y = 34
