What type of mood is created in this excerpt from "The Raven"

Back into the chamber turning ...

this creates a sad mood because it is depicting him as lonely looking for something else in his past but he realizes there is nothing, and later on in the poem he realizes its nothing but a raven that he is hearing because he is lonely and imagining things
