How are bacteria, a rose, and an elephant alike?

They all evolved from LUCA, the Last Universal Common Ancestor. They all use some form of genetic information stored as nucleotides; in bacteria it can be RNA and in roses and elephants it is DNA. Their cells all have a cell membrane.
