As the particles in a soup reach the boiling point, what do you expect to happen?

Once the particles of a liquid reach its boiling point, additional heat would cause the liquid particles to boil off or vaporize. The process is accompanied by rapid movement of the molecules. This evidently, increases the kinetic energy of the system.
