To form the quadratic equation, form II equations;
(x-(
(-5)/(4))(x-8)=0
(
x+(5)/(4) )(x-8)=0
Open the brackets;
x(x-8)+
(5)/(4)(x-8)=0

x^(2) -8x+ (5)/(4) x-10=0

x^(2) - (32)/(4) x- (5)/(4) x-10=0

x^(2) - (27)/(4) x-10=0
This can be simplified to;

4x^(2) -27x-40=0
