Before the French Revolution, the lower class were heavily burdened by Taxes imposed by irresponsible officials.

Due to government's irresponsibility, France's economic condition continued to deteriorate to the point where the people couldn't take it anymore and choose to execute their King.

after the execution, many of the Noble's land became free and many people took it to start a better living
